Gary and morning show co-host Amy Malone began their “Fall Tour” at the 38th annual Yankee Peddler Festival in Canal Fulton.
Step back in time 200 years and visit pioneer America with master artists and crafters setting up rustic shops along streams and amid lovely wooded dales, with foods and snacks cooked over open fires, and with non-stop entertainment across the 75-acre grounds.
Visit with the militia and mountain men, or learn crafts with hands-on instruction. Visit with the master crafters and artists while they demonstrate the way they transform nature into something unique for you and yours.
The thirty-eighth annual Yankee Peddler Festival is held at Clay’s Park in Canal Fulton, OH. The festival will take place September 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26, 2010 from 10:30am until 6:00pm
The Challenge was issued! Amy has never “fully experienced the fair”!
By that, Gary meant that Amy had never, ever, in all her broadcasting years, milked a cow or goat, sheared sheep, cleaned out a stall, or baled hay!
That’s about to change!

In the meantime, they’ve met some fun 4H kids who loved showing Amy “the ropes”.
Gary has a live broadcast on Sunday, Sept 5 from 12n to 2p in at the Grandstand Gazebo to emcee the MaryAnn Donu “Donut eating contest”.

Fall Tour at Studio Arts & Glass
This unique Glass Art Show and Sale was held on Sept 17-18 from 9am to 8pm
It featured artwork from area artists, kids make & take craft classes, free hot dogs and refreshments, and more!
My 101.7 FM brought prizes and Danny Boys Pizza delivered! The Humane Society was on hand and found homes for a few of their animals.
