Gary Rivers at Cavs Night

gary-cheerThe Canton Charge held off the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 101-100 in front of a sellout crowd of 3,942 at the Memorial Civic Center on Friday night.

The thrilling victory improved Canton’s record to 17-9 on the season, while Fort Wayne dropped to 15-11. The season series between the two teams is now even at two wins apiece.

The Charge had trailed much of the evening, but pulled ahead in the final minutes, while holding off the resurgent Ants.

Gary and Pam from NewsTalk1480 WHBC were invited to help get the crowd fired up in the 4th period during a time-out contest.   As you can see by the photo (l) Gary got pretty excited by the victory!

(actually, he was cheering on the fans during the 4th period contest )
